William Mc Grath is a founder and the Chief Executive at INLE Risk Management. William is an Irish national and a long-time permanent resident of Hong Kong, and has served as a senior executive at prominent global companies in Hong Kong, Greater China and for over 30 years. William studied Chinese language and Asian studies in university and graduate school.
William is a fully-licensed insurance intermediary with the Professional Insurance Brokers Association for general, long-term and long-term linked insurance. He is working on his final paper for his ACII from the UK’s Chartered Insurance Institute. In 2018, William completed his Financial Times non-executive Director Diploma course and the UC Berkeley Venture Capital Programme.
William is an experienced finance and insurance professional, and prior to joining INLE Risk Management, he served as an executive at a number of leading finance and insurance companies, including the Head of Asia Cash Equities at Lehman Brothers, Deputy Director of Asian Equities Research at Morgan Stanley, COO of Asian Equities at UBS, COO for European Equities at Lehman Brothers, CEO of SE Asian Businesses at UBS, Country Head for Taiwan at SG Warburg, Vice President at AIG Hong Kong, and Deputy Head of AIU Taiwan.
William is a member of a number of committees, highlighted by being the founding Chairman of the Irish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. He has served on the boards of the European Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan, the European Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, Hsin Kong Securities in Taiwan and the Shanghai American School. In addition, William is a member of the Hong Kong Country Club’s Finance Committee. Moreover, he is also a board member, advisor and/or investor at a number of companies, including Café X, Asia League, BeeRoll, Papumba, DBM Cloud Systems, Uniken, SolidX Holdings, FOLD, Azarga Metals and Azarga Uranium.
Liam Mc Grath is a Founder, Director and Technical Representative at INLE Risk Management. He is a permanent resident of Hong Kong, having completed part of his education at the Hong Kong International School in Tai Tam, Hong Kong. Liam furthered his education in the United States, majoring in Political Science focusing on International Studies, while minoring in Business and Mandarin Chinese.
Liam is a regulated insurance broker with experience across general, medical, employee benefits, and life in Hong Kong. He is a fully-licensed insurance intermediary with the Professional Insurance Brokers Association for General, Long Term and Long Term Linked Assurance.
Prior to joining INLE Risk Management, Liam served as the Operations Manager at Asia League, a sports-events company involving the basketball teams from the best leagues in China, Japan, S. Korea, Taiwan, and the Philippines, and as an analyst at TAG Capital, a premier strategic advisory firm for Asia headed by Kurt Campbell, ex-Secretary of State for Asia Pacific in the United States. In addition, Liam has previously worked in the commodities trading business.
Liam is a member of the Hong Kong Scottish Rugby Football Club in Hong Kong.
Liam commands an intermediate-level oral and written fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
