Claims

How do brokers handle claims?

Brokers give advice and support you in compiling and submitting your documents to your insurer. In addition, brokers will monitor the claims process and liaise between you and the insurer to find a resolution.

What do I do to place an insurance claim?

In the event of any unfortunate event, take any steps to prevent further loss, damage, or injury. Report to the police if your policy or situation demands you to do so. Thereafter, contact INLE Risk Management as soon as possible by emailing us at [email protected] or calling us at +852 3462-2778. No insurance claim is the same, and INLE Risk Management will help guide you through your claims process. Please contact us within 30 days of any claimable event.

What documents will be required to make a claim?

Each line of insurance is different, and will require different documentation. However, as a standard, INLE Risk Management will ask for a copy of the following: policyholder’s ID card or passport, policy contract, and any supporting receipts or statements. We may ask for other documents on a case-by-case basis.

What can I do if my claim is rejected?

In the event the insurer initially denies the claim, INLE Risk Management will appeal and renegotiate with the insurer on the client’s behalf. INLE Risk Management may ask for additional documents to further support the claim. If the claim is accepted, the insurer will payout to the client, otherwise the appeal will remain denied.
