Management Team

William McGrath is Founder and Chief Executive of INLE Risk Management. An Irish national and long-term permanent resident of Hong Kong, he has over 30 years of leadership experience across Hong Kong, Greater China, and Asia in the finance and insurance sectors. He is a fully licensed insurance intermediary for general, long-term, and long-term linked insurance.

Prior to founding INLE Risk Management, William held senior executive roles at Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, UBS, SG Warburg, and AIG, including leadership positions across equities, research, operations, and regional business management.

He is also the Founding Chairman of the Irish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and has served on the boards of the European Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan, the European Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, and the Shanghai American School. He previously served on the Finance Committee of the Hong Kong Country Club.

William studied Mandarin Chinese and Asian studies at a university and postgraduate level.

Liam McGrath is a Founder, Director, and Technical Representative at INLE Risk Management. A permanent resident of Hong Kong, he has resided in Hong Kong, England, the United States, and China, bringing a broad international perspective to his work.

Liam is a regulated insurance broker with experience across general insurance, long-term insurance, long-term linked insurance, and crypto and blockchain insurance in Hong Kong.

Prior to joining INLE Risk Management, Liam served as an analyst at TAG Capital, a leading strategic advisory firm in Asia chaired by the ex. Deputy Secretary of State of the United States, Kurt Campbell, where he gained experience in high-level advisory work. He later served as Operations Manager at Asia League, a sports events company operating across multiple Asian markets, which strengthened his cross-border business and regional coordination expertise.

Liam studied Mandarin Chinese at a university level.
